I have been a hobbyist programmer/web developer since 2002 when I first started to learn how to make web pages using a WYSIWYG edtior I can't remember the name of on my brother's computer. After that, I started getting into writing raw html, xhtml, and css. After that I wanted to make my web pages do something more than sit there, so I started learning PHP, and it has been an exciting ride ever since.

Beginnings ...
I have actually been programming in Java for about a year now, but I definetly have a very long way to go. In fact, I don't think anyone ever stops learning. That is certainly true for a software engineer. I am not an expert. This blog is about my expieriences with Java (platform and language) and passing it along to whomever would like to read.
